Bree is a sweet little girl who has just come back into rescue from a home where she was very loved. She is looking for a new home because her owner has passed away. Bree is a senior girl who came into rescue many moons ago, as a very nervous and skittish girl. While there are still some shy tendencies, Bree has really come leaps and bounds over the years. She does approach new people with caution, but is very friendly once she warms up. She is all smiles and still has a lot of energy despite being a senior girl. Bree is in great shape and has a nice lean build. She does need some dental work and we will be scheduling her to have that done very shortly. Bree wears and harness as she is a flight risk. She will run if she is allowed off leash and can not be trusted with open doors or gates. Bree can be reactive of loud noises and her fear reaction is to run and hide. She would not be a good choice for a home with young children, as the excitement and noise would be far too much for her. Bree adores other animals. She is fine with cats and does not bother them at all. Bree ADORES other dogs, and she is a dog that really needs a doggie companion - someone that will lead so she can follow. Bree bonds quickly and easily with other dogs - and she really is happiest when she has someone to follow along. She is not an overly playful dog, but does have her moments! Bree simply would not thrive in a home without another dog to take the lead and we must insist she does not go to an only dog home. She is a wonderful dog who has a lot to offer - and as you can see in her pictures, Bree is still quite lively and happy - she's eleven years young! (Indoor Home Only!)
